history
Jack is from the television show LOST, which means that his past and his history are an incredibly convoluted mess that can be summed up in a very brief and all encompassing statement: weird things happen on The Island, which is a strange location out in the middle of nowhere with a great deal of strange magnetic activity going on. This makes it susceptible to experiments put on by the government, strange animals that really shouldn't live on a tropical island, and strange inhabitants that have an odd connection with the leader of the island, who is named Jacob.

However, a lot of this information is not entirely relevant to Jack, as a character. He's a doer sort of personality. As a neorosurgen, he is not unintelligent, but tends to think very much in the box. How can I fix this situation right now, and very quickly so as to avoid any further damage? He doesn't have a great deal of patience, in that regard. That said, his critical thinking skills have helped him survive a plane crash, and lead other through the strange and mysterious events that happened on an island where their plane crashed on.

Jack has a tendency to distance himself from those around him. He's not a big fan of showing emotion, preferring to keep a lot of that bottled up inside, with the exception of anger, which - while he does bottle it up, to a degree - has a higher chance of bursting out of him in a fit of rage. He's prone to jealousy, and obsession to a certain degree - but that's only because he has a difficult time with just letting things lie. Those are extreme situations though - for the most part, he's a very caring and passionate individual, prone to self sacrificing decisions that hurt the few and help the many.

GAME: [info]Empty Earth RPG
This is a plot-driven, massive multifandom RPG. In the game all fandoms exist as their own realities, totally separate from each other- but when a great disaster destroys all the fandoms the survivors are plucked up one by one by some strange force and put together in a blank universe until their own realities are fixed- if that ever does happen. The reality that the survivors are being sent to is a world just like modern day earth, except totally empty. Homes, stores, entire cities- they're all there, just without any people. Still, everything still functions- the trains run, the stores restock themselves nightly, damaged buildings repair themselves, mail arrives, and most importantly of all the internet is still up and running... it's just all empty.
